This piece is part of my landscape series.  Each piece represents a compulation of several scenes or vistas, to create one imaginary "place." Colours are laid down as a wash initially, and layered until an image emerges.  I add details and shapes with ink, until the desired picture comes into view. 
 
Each original watercolour and ink work is on 300g watercolour paper.  29cm x 42.5cm, unframed, signed on back.
