An original mixed media work using acrylic paint and mediums, watercolor mediums and collage.  A juvenile frogmouth sits on a post waiting for its parents to return with a morsel of food.  The foliage in the work was created using hand-made rice paper prints as collage in addition to other acrylic mediums.  This semi-abstract piece seeks to impart a twilight scene, with warm colors colliding with cool evening approaching.
